Chapeuzinho Pods can be used in aquariums to create attractive natural caves for small fish and shrimp. Found in the Amazon Rain Forest, these also help to condition the water for soft water species such as Tetra's, Angelfish, and Discus by lowering the pH level and releasing antibacterial properties. They have a rough textured surface too, which is great for attaching plants and mosses, and some fish may even lay eggs on them.
